Cross-Channel Marketing

Monday, July 25
1 to 2:15 p.m.

Cross channel marketing campaigns allow businesses to create relevant messages that engage the audience in ways traditional methods can’t. Steve Hall, Chief Executive of Boelte-Hall, will discuss the difference between cross channel marketing and multi-channel marketing, explain why and how cross channel marketing works, and give examples from award-winning cross-channel campaigns – including a 2010 AMS campaign.

About Steve Hall

After spending many years declining to join his dad at Boelte-Hall, Steve finally agreed to a temporary position there when one of his fellow band members took time off for surgery on his vocal cords. He learned to sweep the floor and how to imprint real estate brochures with franchise addresses on a Heidelberg windmill. Much to Steve's dismay, he's still working at Boelte-Hall over 30 years later. Most of his efforts involve constantly changing what the company does.

Steve was among the founders of the Covalent User's Group and served as its president for over 10 years. He also served as president of his regional PIA group.

Although he was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2007, he will admit that his high school drum ensemble was defeated on The Original Ted Mack Amateur Hour by a woman who could bend over backwards and pick up a handkerchief with her teeth.

Miraculously, he is married to an award-winning television news reporter. Together they have traveled much of the world by bicycle, and also jointly lead an annual medical mission trip to serve Haitian sugar cane cutters and their families in the Dominican Republic. Steve and his wife live in Leawood, Kansas with their dog, Angel.
